Students will be taught the following
Intra -Oral skills
- Applies and removes dental dam
- Selective coronal polishing
- Obtains preliminary impressions
- Applies treatment liner
- Applies and removes matrix band and wedge
- Applies anti-cariogenic topical fluoride gel
- Applies pit and fissure sealant
- Applies topical anesthetic

Ontario is a non- regulated province. The NDAEB certificate is required to use Intra-Oral skills in Ontario. Students are encouraged to apply for ODAA certification once successfully completing the NDEAB exam.
Admission Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a recognized Level I Dental Assisting program (official transcript required)
- Medical/Immunization Form completed
- CPR Level C (current certificate required)
- Proof of Radiology with H.A.R.P Certification
*Students who do not currently have their H.A.R.P certification will be required to complete the radiology with H.A.R.P Certification course.
